
Payday Lenders That Used Tribal Affiliation to Illegally Garnish Wages Settle with FTC
A Southern Dakota-based lending that is payday and its own owner will pay $967,740 to the U.S. Treasury incorporated into a settlement resolving FTC costs that they utilized unjust and misleading processes to can get on pay check loans and forced debt-burdened clients to journey to Southern Dakota and appearance before a tribal court that could not need jurisdiction over their circumstances.
